Mozambique Flood 2000
In the Year 2000 Mozambique flood was a natural disaster that occurred in February and March 2000. The catastrophic flooding was caused by heavy rainfall that lasted for five weeks and made many homeless. Approximately 700 people were killed by this deadly disaster. People were forced out of their homes, had to climb onto roofs and trees in the hope that they would be rescued. It started in South Africa, but major damage was in Mozambique.
