Fans flee Wiz Khalifa’s show at Ruoff mid-concert amid reports of a disturbance

The Wiz Khalifa concert at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville abruptly ended at around 10:00 p.m. Friday when people fled the venue. A few of them yelled about the possibility of shooting however, a Noblesville Police spokesman told IndyStar late on Friday that he did not have any details on what happened.

There were no shots visible or heard from the audience area near the left and front part of the stage. The majority of attendees left from the main entrance however, some encountered gates that were closed or fences with wires that were climbed to exit.

The music stopped as did Khalifa along with his band left the stage right away.

In Ruoff’s employee parking area the audience was calling their cell phones. Others were crying and holding one another. A few fled into the fields that surround the location.

Police vehicles as well as an ambulance were spotted in the parking lot at the rear.

Khalifa was 45 mins into her set in his Vinyl Verse co-headlining tour with his fellow rapper Logic. The show was his last of the evening. Fedd The God and 24kGoldn played later in the night.
