The actress Anne Heche has reportedly been seriously injured after an accident in Los Angeles, California on August 5. In the words of TMZ, Heche crashed her car into the garage of an apartment complex. Witnesses reported that they “tried getting Anne out of the vehicle but she put the car in reverse and then sped off.” Then she crashed another time and this time, into the house where there was a fire that was ignited. The fire was said to be “significant” and is said to have “engulfed the house.” The outlet also has video footage of the incident, too.
As per the reports, she suffered “severe burns” and is “currently in the hospital intubated but expected to live.” TMZ believes that there was alcohol in the vehicle, as per what’s been observed in the vehicle, however because of her health doctors are unable to confirm whether that’s the scenario.
Heche did mention at the time of her death in 2020, that alcohol was one method of dealing against her father Donald Heche, who sexually assaulted her as a young girl. “I drank. I smoked. I took drugs. I had sex with a lot of people. I tried everything to erase the shame from my existence,” She confessed to ABC News.
